Windswept

I’m lucky that when everything gets a little too much in life, I can escape back to the rural peace that comes with the Welsh countryside. While these past few weeks have been pretty tough, it always makes me especially grateful to have the amazing friends and family around me that I do – and for living in such a beautiful environment around plenty of fresh air and footpaths for thinking things through and clearing my head.

The Jumper Dress

The first day of February comes as a relief after what’s felt like a January of thirty one weeks, rather than thirty one days. It’s great to be back at uni, because I feel like I can let my style run wild as opposed to being stuck in my work uniform at home! The wide range of interesting fashion senses and quirky street outfits has always inspired me, and there’s nowhere that diversity and individuality shows more than the city.

Hello from 2017, here’s wishing you all a happy¬†and prosperous new year (which won’t be hard if it’s even a bit better than 2016…). I apologise for my incognito stance for the past few weeks, I’ve been making the most of the holidays and completely relaxing – which actually fills more time than you’d think (explaining my absence to weekly posts). But I’m back and full of ideas which I’ll try my best to fit around uni work.
