Style icons to me aren’t always necessarily derived from cool celebrities, films or musicians; sometimes inspiration comes from somewhere a lot closer to home. My mum has always dressed amazingly (even if I didn’t appreciate it at a younger age) and I think that definitely plays a part in my fashion taste today.
As much as I love dresses, I’m a massive advocate for ditching feminine skirts for trousers and a more masculine style. Most of the vintage items I buy are men’s checked shirts and oversized tees, and in today’s society jeans have become probably the biggest staple for everyday womenswear.
