There’s nothing quite like the British sea-side, although heading there as soon as the sun shows itself is a risky business (as you can probably tell from my crazy wind-whipped hair). But, in typical British tradition it’s either the beach or the beer garden when it’s slightly warm, and I’ve spent far too much time at the latter lately. My summery outfit is slightly premature, but the excitement to wear these incredible Zara shoes I picked up for half price in the sale took over! They’re super comfy and for only a tenner are a great investment for any holiday’s coming up, teamed with a basket bag. I think the criss-cross panels give them a unique edge, along with a touch of class thanks to the pointed toes.
I’m currently caught up in a heated love affair with the colour red, as ignited by the coolest slingbacks from Next (that I’m still lusting after). Now my eyes are drawn to the shade and I think it’s a strong contender for the season’s key trends – I know I’ll be incorporating it into my wardrobe. It’s bold, confidence-boosting and compliments denim a treat – to the point where it might even be one of my favourite combinations. I’ve been searching for some flared, cropped, off-white jeans because I think these shoes will go amazingly (and my legs won’t have to suffer frostbite because I’m wearing them with this skirt all the time).
Thanks for reading!
