COAT Zara
DRESS Primark (old – similar here)
BOOTS Office (old – similar here)

My quest to find the right coat is officially over. This oversized gem from Zara will see me through the winter months and into Spring no problem and it’s big enough to fit a few layers underneath. It was aΒ total bargain at just under Β£60 – SO reasonable considering how warm and thick it is. The classic style means it’ll go with just about everything, but its funky colouring makes it stand out from the other (amazing) selection of coats on the market as a bit different and quirky.

A new coat each year is a must. They’re a staple that will instantly freshen up last year’s clothes and keep you up to date with winter fashion without having to change your entire wardrobe. My dress is (very) old from trustyΒ Primark, and I’ve worn these Chelsea boots into the ground over the past year but a little coat magic spruces them up to look good as new.

I must have tried on about 100 coats of all different shapes, sizes and colours over the last month and dragged a few unimpressed, bored friends (and an extremely impatient boyfriend) with me to help decide (so when he said it was the one, I knew it was the one). Zara has a fab selection of coats out right now, but as soon as I tried this knitted wonder on I was sold – and I don’t think I’ll be taking it off until the summer sun comes back out.

Peace x
